The disinfection, particularly of water but also of all kinds of articles, equipment and surfaces, in the public and industrial sector is a major problem worldwide. This is not simply limited to third and second world countries, but to developing and first world countries as well.
In this highly competitive market, intensive research has been in progress for decades. New scientific knowledge is constantly being gained, while new products are being developed to help human beings fight their smallest, and yet most dangerous enemies.
In order to manufacture an ecological product, Sanosil’s research team found that extensive tests should be conducted between the two basic compounds Hydrogen Peroxide (H202) and Silver (Ag+). At the perfect concentration, the two have a strong bactericidal effect, yet they in fact react together explosively.
Hydrogen Peroxide
Hydrogen Peroxide (H202) is is an exceptionally oxidizing operator with ground-breaking disinfectant properties. Furthermore, Hydrogen Peroxide decomposes naturally into pure water and oxygen gas, thus leaving no trace of any foreign substance or disinfectant in the treated water.
Hydrogen Peroxide is utilized mechanically as a food added substance, dying operator and for completing concoction responses. More recently, it has been increasingly used to disinfect industrial waste and exhaust air. Notwithstanding, in its concentrated structure, hydrogen peroxide is genuinely insecure and tends to deteriorate, so a stabilising agent is required. This has been an impediment in utilizing Hydrogen Peroxide as a water disinfectant. Some different hindrances of Hydrogen Peroxide are: high affectability to brings up in temperature; affectability to daylight and Ultra Violet radiation; slow, short and constrained adequacy. Consequently it isn’t appropriate for forestalling recontamination.
Silver
“hydrodynamic” was instituted in 1880 as Swiss botanist Carl von Nageli saw that profoundly weakened silver arrangements have go about as an algicide (that is, they can execute green growth). He found that a silver centralization of 0.01 mg/L had “unbelievable” consequences for vegetation, for example, green growth, an impact which he named the “hydrodynamic impact”. Broad advancement has been made since, and new tests indicated that a similar low portion additionally had a bactericidal impact (that is, it can eliminate microorganisms).
In fact, silver proved to have many advantages over commonly used disinfectants: it is odorless it causes no eye or skin irritation and it does not produce any chloro-amine or other irritating water substances. As silver particles can be dosed in insignificant amounts, neither the substance or physical properties of the treated water are adjusted; they can be applied to a wide scope of pH levels and don’t impact the pH level of the treated water; and silver is additionally exceptionally powerful at high water temperatures. It also actively revents decontamination and re-germination.
The major disadvantage of Silver was that it had no oxidizing effect, and thus was not capable of decomposing, altering or eliminating organic matter by oxidation. Silver also has a slower bactericidal effect and has limits to its concentration.
The Breakthrough
The Sanosil research team worked on the two basic components Hydrogen Peroxide and Silver which seemed to have all the necessary features to help develop a new, broadly effective disinfectant. The end product had to have none of disadvantages of the single components, yet needed to retain all their advantages. After many years of intensive research, Sanosil’s research team succeeded in developing a revolutionary production method that ‘peacefully’ blended the two production methods. This resulted in a remarkable discovery: combining the two elements resulted in synergy – an impressive magnification of each of the two individual substance’s effect. The bacteria, viruses, etc were eliminated much quicker and more intensively than if either substance was used on its own.
The new product, called Sanosil Super, achieved outstanding disinfection results, at far lower concentrations. It has all the advantages of Hydrogen Peroxide and Silver individually, and none of the disadvantages. One of the most important synergistic effects is Sanosil’s ability to destroy Bio-films. This is critical while assaulting higher types of microscopic organisms and infections which have created bio-film as a defensive covering. Hydrogen Peroxide oxidizes the bio-film, permitting the silver to infiltrate unhindered and dispose of the infection or microbes.
Sanosil Super is the only product available worldwide capable of destroying bio-films without dangerous overdosing.
The products convincing properties (non-toxic, no side effects, and environmentally friendly) are such that the necessary official permits and authorizations for its unrestricted use in all fields have already been granted in many countries. Sanosil has never been denied permission from any country. Authorization for its use in the strict drinking water sanitation area, which is relatively difficult to obtain, has also been granted in these countries.
